opera grilles - general information

Opera grilles are cast aluminum decorative pieces that are provided in natural aluminum. Typically they are used for wall or ceiling, but in small sizes they are OK for floor use. But remember, aluminum is a soft metal and so anything large is not a good idea for floor use. We typically pre-drill them and provide screws for mounting, but we can certainly skip that if desired. Supply registers can be had with dampers. Those are operated with a screwdriver as shown in the pictures. Customers usually paint the opera grilles, but there is no reason why you couldn't leave them natural if that is a look that appeals to you. We try to keep all sizes on hand so lead time is usually not an issue.
